As part of our waste management programme, we have invested heavily in recycling over the years in order to reduce impact on the environment whilst making our operation more efficient. At our waste transfer and recycling facility on the outskirts of York, we sort out each skip carefully by hand. The result of this is that we recycle or reclaim 100% of the waste we handle – a figure we are very proud of.
